Product description

Shielded two-signal and two-power conductor cable for DeviceNet communication

Product Overview

This DeviceNet bus cable combines two signal conductors and two power conductors in a shielded industrial bus construction. The supplied specification lists fine-stranded tinned or bare copper conductors, bus-standard insulation, bus-standard core identification and cabling, an improved tinned-copper braid with at least 85% coverage, and a special PVC or PUR sheath. Two reference versions use 0.20 mm² signal cores with either 0.38 or 0.75 mm² power cores. It is intended for DeviceNet data transmission in automation equipment when installed within the stated electrical, temperature and 14D moving bend-radius limits.

FAQ

What details are needed for a quotation?

Send the required DeviceNet bus cable construction, length, quantity, operating conditions and termination drawing.

Can the conductor construction be customized?

Customization is available within manufacturing feasibility. 0.38 or 0.75 mm² power-core version should be confirmed against your electrical drawing.

Are finished cable assemblies available?

Yes. Connectorized assemblies can be reviewed after the connector model, pinout and test requirements are supplied.

What is the MOQ?

MOQ depends on the selected construction, sheath material and packaging. Contact us for the applicable quantity.

What is the production lead time?

Lead time depends on specification approval, materials and volume and is confirmed in the quotation.

Can I request a sample?

Existing or custom pre-production samples may be available after specification review.

What quality checks are available?

Checks may include continuity, dimensions, insulation resistance, voltage testing and visual inspection according to the approved specification.

How should the cable be installed?

Observe the stated temperature and bend-radius limits, avoid twisting and provide proper strain relief.

Can marking and packaging be customized?

DeviceNet connector and termination and Cable length, marking, reel and carton packaging are available subject to order review.
